Dominic is working hard for the koalas
This little legend, Dominic Noonan, is working hard to raise donations to help us at Koala Rescue Queensland so that we can keep on saving our beautiful koalas. We are always so very thankful of kind souls like Dominic who are trying their best to raise awareness and help in every way they can to keep our koalas safe from the increasing number of threats to their habitat. Ben & Jerry's Noosa Fundraiser
On April 9th we took to the street out the front of Ben & Jerry's in Noosa to raise some funds for our Koalas. Jasmine, the store manager did a great job promoting our cause. We raised nearly $1000. Nikita dressed in a "onesie" for nearly 8hrs while drumming up business for the delicious ice creams that resulted in donations to KRQ. Thank you to all who participated and donated on the day. 
Rescue Truck
Following our nasty accident which resulted in our rescue truck being badly damaged, Koala Rescue Queensland have been fortunate enough to get fantastic support from Pacific Gympie with a new rescue vehicle provided at a very competitive price. We are very appreciative of their contribution and this amazing video footage they put together. Thank you for all your wonderful support, we couldn't do our rescue work without you. Our friends at Kitco ran an amazing fundraising campaign in May 2013 by selling silver Koala coins. A percentage of each sale was donated to us. They raised a whopping $26,000 !!
